I am a self taught artist and love to paint and draw and tinker with various mediums of crafts. I like to knit when my arms and hands don't hurt.

The kids and i enjoy camping and fishing when we are able to go. There are many fun places to go explore in Michigan. And we go to South Carolina to visit family at least once a year where i spent part of my life growing up.

I love to read it gets my mind off of my pain and i belong to several support groups that helps me with my health issues.

We enjoy watching NASCAR and going to the MIS Michigan International Speedway to watch the race and camp out there. Jamie McMurray, Dale Earnhart, Jr. and Mark Martin are the ones i am a fan of.

I enjoy elderly people and when i get healthy again i would love to be an activities coordinator in a retirement or nursing home...setting up crafts, games, beauty treatment days, dances etc. So often they are put in a nursing home, only to be left to die and i think they should have loved ones to visit them more often. When i was 8 my mother ran the beauty salon at the nursing home where my Great Grandma was a resident and some weekends i would go to work with her and make my rounds visiting my little buddies and they would just light up when i would walk in the room. Some would treat me like their own grandchild and have a craft that they made for me and i would take them something that i had drawn for them. Even the ones who could not speak, were able to communicate with me thru a smile or a hug! It was hard when they would pass away but i would just go and find another buddy and try to make them smile too.

Never judge an abused person, especially if you have never had to endure what they lived thru!

My Owner's Manual...The Bible, I enjoy reading books by Nicholas Sparks, Danielle Steele, Cassie Edwards {Native American ~ Indian series}, Debbie McComber {i like her series books}, Janet Evanovich {She is hilarious}, mostly the romance novels...if you can't find any in your own life might as well read about it!

My favorite Artist, God, and all of the beauty he has created here on Earth for us to enjoy! If you have never had the chance to really take it all in, then stop and have a glimpse at the spectatcular Sunrises and Sunsets, the beautiful sea scapes, the shapes and vibrant colors of trees, flowers and plants. All that nature has created with rock formations and water and landscapes. Also, the beauty of the sky from dawn to dusk and at night the beauty of the stars twinkling high above, the Northern Lights teal light show, shooting stars, and the glow of the moon!

Fake people...people who like to make others miserable because they are.

Abuse of any form including emotional, mental, verbal and physical!

Life is too short for any of that!

I am a 40 year old Mother of two wonderful children. Over the past 11 years i have been suffering with chronic back problems due to breaking my back during the delivery of my second child. I recently had back surgery {a double lumbar laminectomy ~ 4 screws inserted in my facet joints} to relieve the shooting sciatica pain and a portion of the tailbone removed. In addition i have fibromyalgia {a muscle and connective tissue disorder that feels like you ache all over and have the flu all the time} migraines, depression including SAD and Post~Traumatic stress disorder, and sleep apnea.

I enjoy camping, fishing, but i am just as happy spending time at home with summer back yard fun in the pool & hot tub or a nice camp fire ~ or in the winter cozying up with a warm blanket and watching dvd's or listening to music, reading a good book, creating artwork or crafts.

Before becoming disabled i was a Secretary and Word Processor.
