My sister and I raise Miniature horses. We hope to show them in the future but right now we are concentrating on building a herd with good lines, conformation and wonderful personalities.
For 20 some odd years now I have been doing my family history research. I really enjoy it, and it's quite interesting as well as surprising when you find out your roots, who the people were, what they did for a living and what was happening during their era.

There is something about seeing a rainbow arched across the sky that makes me feel excited about life.
Twinkling stars in the night sky, the vastness is amazing. Have you ever just layed on the lawn at night with the lights off and just looked at the sky lights? Or watched a meteor shower? It's pretty amazing. Everyone should give it a try, but no man made lights on! It ruins the effect.
Thunder & lightening storms. They can be frightening and yet exhilirating at the same time! I love to hear the thunder roll across the sky and then watch for the lightening strike that happens soon afterwards.
Standing outside while the snow is falling heavy and thick with those big fat snowflakes coming down. You can experience a silence that is deafening, a smell that is cleansing under that heavy snow that is falling.
Sitting in the barn after feeding the horses and listening to the horses munching on their hay. The rythmic sound they make while slowly chewing their hay is kind of a white noise effect. If you own horses, then you'll understand exactly what I mean.

TURN OFF'S
Mean people, liars, and thieves.
Cell phone users who have one of those ear buds crammed in their ear and are constantly walking around talking to someone on the phone, PARTICULARLY while conducting business, whether it be in line at the bank, grocery store or wherever. It drives me insane that these people do not have the common courtesy to hang the phone up while a cutomer service rep is attempting to take care of their transaction, not too mention it's rude to others who are held up in line because they can't get off the phone long enough to complete their transaction in a courteous aqnd timely manner.
ABOUT ME
I'm 5'5". I'm also a tad overweight, probably because I refuse to give up my addiction to 5th Avenue candy bars! LOL So if you have a problem with overweight folks, you should move on.
I have long grey hair and have earned every bit of it. I have been asked why I don't dye my hair. My usual answer is because it is so long and so thick I would have to take out a loan to pay to have my hair dyed. Besides, come Halloween, it really makes for a good witch costume effect.
I am a pretty laid back person and prefer to stay home rather than mingle in the outside world. I guess you could say I am somewhat of an introvert as I spend a lot of time "thinking" and "pondering" about things such as the Universe and all that is within it.
I love to read, horror is my favorite, Stephen King being my favorite author, what a wonderfully twisted mind! I also love to read books involving parallel universes. Stephen King has also written such a book, a series called The Dark Tower. Excellent series!
