Comedies are my favorite... but I like them when they actually have a decent storyline. My favorite all-time movies include the Harry Potter series, Amadeus, Somewhere in Time, Bridget Jones' Diary, and Little Shop of Horrors (the musical). I have recently enjoyed British comedies like Keeping Mum and Driving Lessons. Just saw The Business of Being Born... every woman should see this film.

Enya... I know, they're not popular anymore. I also like classical (especially Mozart), ABBA, a lot of contemporary pop, Celtic, and Big Band. Showtunes! My favorite soundtracks are Little Shop of Horrors, Guys & Dolls, Li'l Abner and a few others.

All 7 Harry Potter books... we've read them all aloud. If only I could write as well as Jo Rowling!

Spring flowers; gentle rains; windstorms (I'm an Air person, so I get really energized by wind). Snow is magical, as are the moon and stars. A baby's giggle; a pregnant belly... it makes me happy, especially when it's mine!
Homebirth, pregnancy and babies!

Loud noises; housefires (we had one 9 years ago); bottlefeeding; unnecessary interventions in birth.

I married my high school sweetheart, and we have been married 22 years now. We have 8 children, and I'd have more in a heartbeat. They are the wonder and blessings in our lives. I like to be creative, but I'm pretty much a homebody who keeps to themself. I have been studying midwifery for about ten years now. I am a Reiki Master, and am trying to get a small clientele going working through the local midwives.
It is my goal to be able to work from home and make enough money to take some of the stress off hubby, yet still be here for my kids. I feel I should be able to make a decent addition to our budget if I can market my artwork and my writing.
