Lifes Journey continues
Lifes Journey continues

  My journal of this journey continues.  At this time we have been told there is no other treatment that can be done.  We are to go get his blood checked Monday Wednesday and Friday then if there is a need for it we go to the hospital and he gets transfusions.  Yesterday we were there from 11am to 7:30 pm as he received two units of red and one unit of platelets.              The days are lo... Life in the Slow Lane
We've been fighting the creeping crud at our house. Well, rather, my  husband has been fighting it. It is three weeks and counting now. He is back at work, but he probably shouldn't be. The doctor diagnosed it as bronchitis, and he is taking meds for it, along with all his other medications he has to take every day. Sigh. I wish he felt better.  At least he is sort of on the mend.Of course, since everyone else has been feeling fine, now that he's getting better, they're getting sick! C... Read More

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

I think my kids do the cutest things!! I'm so grateful to have a big loving family! I love getting to act like a silly little kid and play. ;) My children are my joy and my whole life. I recommend playing with children every day even if they aren't your own kids! It's fun! Just beware of video games! The Lost
Nearly three and a half years ago, my stepmother - a lady in her 80's, known to her friends and family as Mimi - returned from hospital, where she had been treated for depression, made an appointment with friends to go shopping the next day and sometime during the night, vanished.  Mimi lived the Medicine Hat and to give you a picture of the area it is flat prairie, practically desert, at least in terms of Canada.  When you're out of the city you can see and be seen for miles in any direction....
