For most students the words, "You are going to write a report..." are the most terrifying words that can be spoken. But, the good news is, they don't have to be! There are many things you can do to make this writing project a healthy learning experience.

To start with, unless you have been given a specific format, the 5 paragraph essay is one of the best formats to follow. All you need is 1 opening paragraph, 3 topics, and 1 closing paragraph.

There is a good website that I just discovered called HELIUM.
An excellent website for freelancers and journalists trying to get their name out there and create a portfolio. You get paid to submit articles, and you get to compete with other writers in all sorts of different competitions. You can also write for companies, and if they accept your article, you are paid for it.

Ya gotta love the momentum that the New Year always seem to bring with it!
Somehow changing the last number ******* out on your checks and bringing out that new calendar makes us all feel like we are working on a clean slate.

Welcome 2008!  Happy New Year to all my new Zubby friends and here is wishing you all the best throughout the year.
I personally decided that I am not making myself any resolutions to try to keep this year.  I am only making myself a promise to keep plugging away at my book and do my best to be a decent human being!  Nothing too difficult ya know?  LOL!

Fun, but hard work too.  I am cruising right along and enjoying every minute of it.  It is amazing how the ideas just start to flow and everything starts to build a cohesive plot, and characters form personalities and pretty soon you have your own little world built!
