We just got news that my 2 daughters’ paternal grandma died today. I met Essie in 1964, and the last time I saw her was at her 80th birthday party in October, 2000. I have been blessed to be with my parents during their 25th wedding anniversary (Dad died before they could have a 50th), my dad’s last birthday in 1969, and for my mom’s 80th birthday party October, 1993. I was there during my first mother & father-in-law’s 50th wedding anniversary in 1991 and for Essie’s 80th birthday party. I was also there for my husband, Ken’s parent’s 65th wedding anniversary in 2006 (10 days before his mom, Dale died).
I ask that all of you will pray for Essie’s 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law who thought of Essie as her own mother and for all of Essie’s grandchildren, relatives and friends. We all know that she is in a much better place now and will never suffer pain again, but for her family this is a very rough time!! They have watched her suffering for the past few days and are now faced with the funeral.

At the time, I was only in myspace, but now Ken & I have been blessed with some wonderful friends in ***** RFN and Zubby too. We are thankful for our online friends in all 4 social networks as well as our other friends we have met on the Internet in the past 10 years. MySpace, ***** RFN & Zubby are very addictive. We get such awesome encouragement from our friends in all of these social networks. We started the other 3 for the money (realize we will never see any money), but we stay for the friends!! Thanks to all of you for being there for us!!
