John Conyers is the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. It’s his job to initiate and oversee the process of impeachment in the House of Representatives. He wrote a book called “Constitution in Crisis,” which came out two years ago and details the impeachable offenses of the Bush administration. He is now incredibly refusing to move ahead with impeachment of the most impeachable administration the United States has ever seen. He says it would be detrimental to Democrats and the party’s chances of winning the White House.
John Conyers is lying. He knows better.
Exactly one year ago, Dennis Kucinich introduced Articles of Impeachment against Cheney. They have been sitting in the Judiciary Committee collecting dust ever since.
Contact John Conyers. Tell him to honor his oath to the Constitution and do the job the people expect of him.
