Christmas in a hot climate
by Noot54

I've lived all my life in England in the northern hemisphere so Christmas falls in mid-winter.

We don't get much snow, the Bing Crosby 'White Christmas' type but it's usually cold or damp.

I'd like to hear what Christmas is like in a hot climate such as Australia or California?

The part of California I lived in was the middle or central part. I was in a valley not more than 20 miles from the ocean and on Christmas it was about 45 degrees in the morning with a bit of frost and got up to 65 degrees by noon. I'm sorry I can't give you the metric equivalent. But it really depends on where you live and the altitude in California as to whether or not you see snow. For instance, from where I lived you could see Fremonts Peak which had snow on it every year and I could drive up to see it.
