oh yuck ... thankfully I never stay at motels/hotels and now if I did I'd bring my own drinking cups!

Ewwwwww. I don't stay in hotels often. I usually bring my own beverages in cans anyway. Thanks for sharing, I'll make sure I just stick to the plastic wrapped cups.
