I realize that in large majority of folks celebrate Christmas. Now I am not a total grinch and do get into the spirit of the season. However, I am Jewish and do not celebrate Christmas. In all of the hundreds of comments I have received, I have gotten ONE Happy Hanukkah. There are so many religions that celebrate different holidays at this time of year. It just makes me wonder if people are really here to make friends because it doesn't seem that profiles are actually read.
I am not posting this so that everyone will run out and find me Hanukkah comments to post. I am writing this because I am a little saddened in the motvating factor behind people for being here. Now don't get me wrong, I have left tons of comments for people. I too have sites to promote. But that is not my sole reason for commenting them, I will not send any spam. I try and take the time to read about them so that I can leave a more personalized comment in the future, possibly strike up a friendship. I thought that is afterall what Zubby is all about.
I am quite shocked to see how many don't even offer up one tidbit of information about themselves on this site. It defeats the purpose. Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter, thanks for taking the time to read.
