That is how I understand it as well.  I'm pretty sure that it's correct.

What I don't like is that you get points for comments on profiles. I have checked and some people just do a quick copy paste of some small comment on everyone profile and get a ton of points.

If someone posts a hundred comments saying "have a great friday" they get a hundred points. But you can start a new group, post in it a hundred times. Post in the forum a hundred times and add zubby to your stumbleupon and leave the addy in other sites in your sig. All of which I know several people did before we had referal numbers. and you get next to zero points.

 That seems wrong. I guess I could log on this weds. and post "Happy Hump Day" a thousand times if I want points. But I would rather post real items.

To reply to this... I have had SO much spam commenting on my page.  So many comments filled with big graphics and generic hellos sent to everyone. 

I too like posting in the groups and hope that it will factor in to the point scheme.

I'm one of the first 1000, I want to participate here ... I want to see this site be a success.

But ...

Having a group of people I don't really even know fill my comment page up with a bunch of dumb graphics ... and  then be rewarded for it with "points" ... has actually kept me from participating  here.

In a way it's my own fault for accepting the friend requests in the first place.

So far though, I'm having a hard time seeing what is "unique" about Zubby?

Right now, it just strikes me as having all the bad qualities of myspace.  ie, "Friending" and commenting, with no real interaction or attempts to build friendships.

I don't have time for that.
