Why do we need to be friends to read peoples bulletins?

I think I have the answer to this one.  I made the mistake of thinking a bulletin was just a bulletin the way you are, but a bulletin's function is to alert your friends to this or to that, so it would stand to reason then, that you have to be friends with someone in order to read their bulletins and vice versa for your friends to read yours.  Correct me please, Randy, if this is not accurate.

Maybe what you and I were looking to do could be implemented in a different manner?  After I figured out that I used the bulletin feature incorrectly, I resorted to signing my own guestbook on my 'Profile' page so I could achieve the same effect.

Is there a feature that could be added to serve the same purpose?  Assuming Vander (may I call you 'Vander'?) was trying to do the same thing, put an announcement of some kind on his 'Main' page, is there any other way around this short of what I did for mine?

I guess it is more the fact that they show up on the my page, my thinking is if they are on my page they should be accessible by me. I would think that there would be a way to show only the bulletins posted by my friends.

As in 'Darth' -- DUH!  I'm sorry 'Vader' (may I call you 'Vader'? OK, I'm kidding now with the 'may I' crap), I didn't mean to call you 'Vander'.  I think I may have made the same mistake on a message somewhere else, too, in which case, I apologize twice!  I don't know what possessed me 'cause I know you (and a few others) are Star Wars fans, followers or what have you, so I can't say I didn't already know that.  Anywho, I promise I won't make the same mistake again and, knowing how fibrofog works, I can pretty much guarantee I will  make the same mistake again SOOOOOO you are now a permanent fixture on my computer monitor's frame.

This is the kind of thing I LOVE  to blame on Fibrofog, otherwise I just look stupid and well, who likes to just look stupid, right?  LOL LOL  Fibrofog is the same as brain fog or a brain 'fart', depending on the circle you travel in.  It's the ONLY good thing about Fibromyalgia -- the fibrofog, I mean.  Any mistake I make is automatically explained away via the fibrofog mention.  Isn't it great?

As for the bulletin feature, we really didn't get a good answer to our question
(yes, I was wondering too):

Randy, is there some other way you could give us to place a notice on our own page that acts like  a bulletin?  Thanks!
