What about creating a Zubby-Friends Team...

...to enter the Madness Against Malaria Tournament?

Madness Against Malaria is a fun, international competition to identify the team that is best at raising funds to buy long-lasting insecticidal (mosquito) nets (LLINs) to help in the fight against malaria. The aim is to involve people all over the world.

A team is any group willing to band together to raise funds. It could be a school, a group of friends, religious group, science class, volunteer group, company, work colleagues, sports club, family...

Each team will try to get others to donate money to the cause at their team page.


The Aim:

- Win the Malaria Cup by raising enough money – with tactics – to be the last team standing.

Will it be a school, a company, a foundation, or a ten year old child OR a Zubby-friends team that manages to rally everyone in the world around them?  c",)

We have until 14 Mar 08 to raise sponsorship on our team’s page and finish in the Top 64 teams. If we do, we go through to the first round of the ‘knock out’ phase. Teams are paired up and the team that raises the most money of each pair during that round goes through to the next round. And so on each round, until only 2 teams are left in the final.



  The equivalent of 7 jumbo jets full of children die every day from malaria. It costs just $5 buy a bednet and save a child's life.

What do you say? Should we have some fun together AND save some lives?!?  c",)
