Dear First 1000 Members,
As you know, the website has
been growing at a fantastic rate! First, I want to say thank you for being such
an awesome user and I am delighted to have you on board. It’s people like you
that give me the drive to keep going and making this web site the best it can
be.
This e-mail is a response to
try and answer as many of the questions as possible that members have sent in
over the past 36 hours. My message box has so many messages that I am unable to
answer them one by one in the amount of time you all would like a response.
This is why I would like to try and cover everything in this message because I
don’t want anyone to think your message is going unanswered.
I will also be posting this
message to the Welcome section of the forum so that you can view it anytime or
if you have friends that want to know what the deal is, you can send them
there.
Let’s Get Started:
- The Biggest Question has been, Am I one of the
First 1000 members?
Yes,
you are in fact one of the first 1000 members and once we reach our initial
1000 members we will post this to the site letting everyone else know that our
first 1000 has been met.
- How do I Get Paid Has been the next biggest
question.
The
way you will get paid is to be one of the first 1000 members to signup on the
web site and you remain an active member creating your profile, uploading
photos, inviting friends etc… We have not implemented the revenue share program
yet as we are working on securing deals with an advertising network in order to
generate income so Zubby can become revenue positive. Once we become revenue
positive and our attorney works out just how much we will be able to share, we
will announce just how much of a percentage of Net income that comes into the
web site you will receive being one of the first 1000 members. We hope to get
the revenue sharing and ad service in place early of 2008 however, as you know
it takes a bit of time to get the best deal for us as well as you! So, our
promise to you is that when Zubby has every thing in place and becomes revenue
positive we will tell you the percentage you will receive as one of the first
1000 family members of Zubby.com
- How do I track my referrals?
Tracking
referrals is not necessary as Zubby’s revenue sharing model will not depend on
your referrals at this point. Now, that’s not to say that we will not implement
something in the future & if we do, we have all of the information on how
many of your invites Joined under you and will be able to release that
information later if needed. If you want to see how many people signed up under
you, you must view your friends and see how many you invited joined.
- How do I find my referral link?
Your
referral link can be found by logging into your account and sending an invite
to your own e-mail. You will receive your referral link in that message. If for
some reason you can not do that, here is what the link looks like http://www.zubby.com/signup/refid_X/
you will need to replace the X with your ID number which can be seen by mousing
over the Add To Friends link on your profile page and you will see a number at
the end of the link. That is the number you would replace the X here in this
example.
- Joining The First 1000 Group Is Telling Me I
Still Need and Invite or I am unable to Join?
No
worries here, you are one of the first 1000 members however, there is a bug in
the system that I am working hard on fixing right now so I can get you all into
the group. I will have this fixed and you can be sure as soon as it is fixed,
you will be invited or automatically placed there once I do correct the
problem.
- My Friends are not receiving their confirmation
link in their e-mail what should I tell them?
Please
let them know that this in fact is another minor bug and I am in the process of
having this corrected as well. In the meantime please ask them to hold tight
and check back often as I will activate them from my end.
- Can I advertise My Business?
Yes,
however there is a place for it here at Zubby and that is in your Profile
(please keep to a minimum), Your Own Group that you are a Moderator of, and the
Forum section that says Business. These are the only places that advertising
your business is allowed. All other posts will be deleted by our helpers. We
understand you may be excited about your other ventures but please do not lose
focus as to why you are here at Zubby. You are here because you have the chance
to be a part of something that will hopefully make you a nice amount of
residual income. You would not want to take a chance of violating the terms of
service and getting your account banned and losing your membership status as
one of the first 1000 members of Zubby.
- Do you have banners we can use to help promote
Zubby.com?
At
the moment I have not created any however, we are working on some and will post
them to the forum under the Welcome section.
Ok,
that about sums up a lot of the questions… I hope this helps you to understand
the business model a bit better now.
I
do want to mention that we are also working on implementing a way to earn money
by doing various things throughout Zubby for members who did not make the first
1000. However, this is in the very early stages and we will not know exactly
what that will be yet or how it will happen. We need the web site to continue
to grow so we can hire on a team of Professional Marketing experts to assist
with all of that stuff!
