What Is Spam?
I know this topic has been covered many other places but I want to be sure we all have the same idea. To me, spam is someone sending me an email or posting a comment with any link attached. I don't care if it's nicely prefaced by hello, how are you or any other nice thing first. I consider spam to be check out my blog, vote for me on Zubby Hotties or of course as we're discussing here links to their sites. Bottom line, to me spam is any unwanted solicitation of a link no matter what it pertains to.

Hi
I would say everybody is different opinions as i would not mind someone asking
to visit there site or blog as we are all here to help each other, What i don't like a constant bombardment of the same thing or some thing that effects there page or a blatant ad with no communication what so ever.
Some people would also like to hear if there is something VERY new on the scene but not to over do it with the exact same thing every-post.
just my quick thoughts.

Your thoughts are appreciated and that's exactly why I asked. We do all have different opinions. I just want to be sure that I am not here reporting something which I consider to be spam that others would not.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm beginning to find it increasingly irritating that everytime I open my mailbox it's full of group invites that are nothing more then downline builders.
I was out of town for three days this week and was not online during that time. When I got back on I had 36 new email messages only 2 of them were personal the rest were group invites from one or two members that start a new club every time they join a new program. The two personal emails were lost in the group invites, and of all the groups I was invited to join only two of them were not spam groups.
So besides having comments with referal links I also consider these downline builder groups extremely offensive.
