So, I am getting a bit sick of social networking sites.
It started with myspace. Than facebook. Now, there isn't a lot wrong with those sites, but it's the fact that they are completely full and jam-packed with ads that I hate them.
I don't like the fact that there are big corporate companies out there trying to cash out on us. We are the ones looking at their ads and increasing their payroll.
Now this is just a personal opinion, but I think that the worse thing going on with facebook is the fact that have introduced "applications".
It has gotten to the point that whenever I log in, I get a long droning list of "application requests", and it's annoying.

Don't even get me started on ******** though. You know what? ******* ISN'T a Scam IF (I said IF) you spend your day on that site, 24/7, adding people, talking to every single person you add, and pretty much spamming every single site in existance with your referal link. READ MY BLOG! LOOK AT MY PICTURES! VIEW MY PAGE! I NEED PAGE VIEWS so I GET MORE MONEY!
It's rediculous.
And what's the payout for all of that work? Next to nothing.
Now, you could join ******* just for the aspect of having a place to talk to your friends, but, you are going to be CONSTANTLY reminded that every single person around you is ON THAT SITE BECAUSE THEY ARE THERE FOR THE MONEY.
Now for the similarity between ALL of these sites - the spamming.
Yes, good old spamming. Every time I change the page on myspace, facebook, ***** and even here on zubby... I see somebody advertising on their blog or in their bulletins about HOW TO MAKE SOME FREE MONEY doing ABSOLUTELY nothing.
Yeah right.
Let's get the facts straight, people. You aren't going to make a fortune doing SURVEYS. You will make about 2 CENTS and the longer you waste your life on it, you might even be able to get up to a whole DOLLAR. YES! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!
You aren't going to make a FORTUNE playing "silly internet games". You aren't going to make a fortune off of Yuwie. You aren't going to make a fortune off of posting news videos on your site UNLESS you have THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of viewers clicking onto yor site every single day.
Simple as that.
I AM HERE ON ZUBBY because I am on a quest for finding the perfect place to store my images, blogs, bulletins, whatever it may be... I am looking for a place FREE from people constantly advertising pointless crap just trying to make a few cents.
Already, this site has been flooded with spamage from its OWN USERS. That is what is sad. But you know what? The administrators have acknowledged that and they are working to get rid of it. That is a sign of people who actually give a shit. And thats nice to see.
This place has a nice clean layout and there is no clutter. It is free and it is pleasant... now, if they can get rid of the SPAM USERS, this place would be a decent place for my username to stay, and since they are making an effort, I have decided to stay.
One thing I did enjoy about ***** though, is that you could share layouts with people. That is something I haven't seen anywhere else. I would like to see that here on zubby at some point. It's kinda fun. Here on zubby, some of the things I am not too fond of is he TAGS thing. But thats personal preference.
Anyways, thanks for listening to my rant...
(UPDATE: Any place in this blog you see this: ***** really means ******** For some reason, they don't let you use that word, here. I can say ****** ******* ****** ******* ******* but, apparently ***** is the most dirtiest word in existance. I guess I can see why, though... haha!)
