Jump starting my morning!!
Allow me to first tell you something. I recently got a new dresser with a large VERY
heavy mirror. It certainly is nice.
Well........the mirror rests against my bedroom wall and looks wonderful.
I checked it of course to assure myself that it was not about to fall.
I need to point out to those of you who have not met my cat Snoopy.
Snoopy is the sweetest and most curious cat, hence the name Snoopy of course.
Yesterday morning I awoke to Snoopy doing a balancing act on top of the mirror. Oh my!
She certainly was cute as a button up there and yes if my camera was handy
at that moment I would have taken a picture of my little angel on the mirror.
I told her to get "off!" of there and needless to say ,cats do not listen until it suits THEM.
I sprung out of bed and down she jumped. She sauntered off to the living room,
taking a moment of course to give me a backward glance as if to say
"Hey i am a cat and "phooey" on you ya grouch!"
The day went smooth as silk with no mishaps.
Bedtime rolls around that evening and off to bed Snoopy and I go.
What a nice sleep we were having. A much needed rest because we had our usual quite busy day.
Now I am not sure what YOUR alarm clock sounds like but I can assure you that
mine has yours beat!
I opened my eyes and YES you guessed it. There was sweet little Snooping testing out her
balancing act on top of the dresser mirror.
"Snoopy get off there!"
Well..............
All I heard was "wobble wobble" CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw Snoopy grow wings and fly out of the bedroom and was in the living room already by the time
that BIG dresser mirror fell over,landed on top of the dresser and crashed to the floor!
The mirror landed on the bedroom floor and i could not believe that when i lifted it up........it was not broken...
There is wood on the back and of course it landed glass side down.
The mirror is now laying in my dining room and I will be bolting it somehow right to the dresser.
Oh that Snoopy certainly keeps me on my toes!
Now that is ONE alarm clock that doe not have "snooze" on it. Thank heavens for that.
Snoopy is fine and dandy and was not hurt at all thank heavens.
She is a beauty and I would not part with her for the world.
